New York City’s Carnegie Hall was overflowing with beautiful people as Glamour Magazine held their 2008 Women of the Year Awards last night (November 10).

“Eyes Wide Shut” actress Nicole Kidman and her hunky country crooner hubby Keith Urban looked blissful as they arrived on the red carpet, with Nic sporting a spaghetti strap ivory-colored dress while Keith opted for a dark suit and tie.
Also stealing plenty of paparazzi attention was  Kate Bosworth, who kept it simple-yet-sexy in a sleeveless black and white knee-length dress teamed with a pair of black heels.

Natalie Portman turned her fair share of heads in a girlie black sleeveless dress, while Fergie looked busty in a cleavage-baring white floor-length gown.

Other celebrities gracing the red carpet in serious style included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Taylor Swift, America Ferrera, and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.

Sarah Jessica Parker attempted to show off her bird calling “skill” on Letterman on Thursday night.

After her serious attempt, the Sex and The City star, whistle out her impersonation and wow that got the crowd to applaud!

Sarah Harding, 26, the celebrity singer in Girls Aloud, has revealed her lingerie modeling for Ultimo’s Valentine’s Day collection. Ultimo belongs to a Scottish firm. They were considerate enough to spend money flying their models into a warmer climate for the underwear shoot. They did not wish for the models to suffer the chills. The photo session was done in Miami, Florida.

Sarah said that she worked hard to get her body in shape. She had been modeling for Ultimo since 2006, for their A-C line. This Spring/Summer 2008 collection would be her last campaign as an “Ultimo Angel.”

Ultimo’s creator, Michelle Mone, said that Sarah was a good model to work with and wished her well in her future endeavors after she leaves Ultimo.

A former model, Sara Foster is the daughter
of famed Canadian composer David Foster. She appeared in the Backstreet Boys video “Shape of My Heart” as well as an episode of the Showtime series Going to California. She later hosted 10 episodes of the program ET on MTV, an Entertainment Tonight style show. Through her work on the program, she was noticed by George Armitage, the director and co-writer of the feature film The Big Bounce (2004). He hired her to play Nancy Hayes, a 19-year-old flirt who seduces a character played by Owen Wilson

Foster has since completed a starring role in her second film, D.E.B.S. (2004), about girls who are recruited to be secret agents based on their SAT test scores. She once dated Leonardo DiCaprio for a period of time, shortly after he broke up with his girlfriend of two years, supermodel Gisele Bunchen.

Controversial American Idol Season 6 star Sanjaya Malakar is set to release a memoir detailing his life story as well as an EP featuring new dance tracks songs, both called Dancing To The Music In My Head, on January 20.

But alas, the A-listers have only teamed up for a lawsuit.

The comely quartet have sued CompUSA, Systemax, TigerDirect and several other electronics-peddling corporations for using their images, which carry “substantial commercial value,” in online advertisements without the actresses’ permission. (View the complaint.)

According to court documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the defendants used the plaintiffs’ pictures and personas “repeatedly and continuously” to sell various products online and in their retail outlets.

We may have never bought a universal remote or a TV wall mount because of Michelle Pfeiffer, but who’s to say other people haven’t?

Pfeiffer, Keaton, Bullock and Moore are requesting unspecified damages. Overall, they are alleging unjust enrichment, violation of common law right of publicity and violation of a California civil code that outlaws unauthorized use of a person’s image for commercial purposes.

Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L Jackson were spotted at NBC Studios in New York City before an appearance in msnbc “Today Show” as the team of the film “Spirit” is on a promotional tour right now.

“The Spirit” is directed by Frank Miller includes the cast and crew likes of Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes and Samuel L Jackson as the movie revolves around a Denny Colt who returns from the beyond as The Spirit to fight bad forces in the city.

As well as being Corrie’s biggest ‘soap babe’, Samia Smith is one of the best young actresses, don’t you think? Having spent seven years in her role as kennelmaid-cum-hairdresser, Samia really proved her worth to me during the story surrounding Maria’s affair with Charlie. I am particularly fond of Maria’s rapport with Audrey; Samia and Sue Nicholls must have such a fantastic working relationship. I relished in the scene last week where the two talked about Carla Connor’s split ends et al, Samia is so natural at all levels. I would actually prefer to see Maria involved in a more character-centred story as opposed to her trying to find another man. More, please!
