Yesterday in London, a rather militant looking Lisa Snowdon arrived to help launch the National Lottery Awards at Imperial War Museum. She was definitely in the spirit of the event, dressed head to toe in an olive-coloured uniform accented with traditional gold buttons — a different style than we’re used to seeing her wear as host of Britain’s Next Top Model. I especially salute her hair and makeup, which was reminiscent of the war-time 1940’s era. How to you feel about Lisa’s army-inspired look?

I thought I’d start off the Grammy posts with a hair raising one. 🙂 What do you think about the way Lisa Rinna and Paula Abdul styled their hair for the red carpet event. I think Kim Kardashian had the right height idea with this hair style.

Lisa Ray was finishing High School in Canada with aspirations of reading Journalism at University when a celebrated fashion magazine approached her to model for them, and she ended up on the cover. This catapulted her into a state of instantaneous recognition. Her high profile career got her noticed by Indian film-makers but she refused many offers until the offbeat _Kasoor (2001)_ , which received a considerable amount of attention. Deepa Mehta then cast her as the lead in the light-hearted romantic comedy, Bollywood/Hollywood (2002), which went on to be a huge success in Canada. She also played the lead on _Ball & Chain (2004)_ , a romantic comedy, filmed in Austin, Texas. She subsequently moved to London to train in acting and concentrate on a serious career in the performing arts. She recently graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and has subsequently worked in ‘Seeking Fear’.

Lisa Marie Scott was born on February 1, 1974, in Pensacola, Florida, the daughter of a Naval dentist from Chicago and a Japanese mother who met while her father was stationed in Okinawa.

Born into a military family meant Lisa moved around quite a bit as a child, living in such places as Guam, San Diego, Hawaii, Japan and Virginia.

During her junior high school years, the family moved to Orange County, California, where they settled.

By her senior year in high school, Miss Scott had blossomed into a pretty young girl, and was voted Homecoming Queen and Most Talented Girl.

She also had become quite an accomplished ballerina, and was accepted to ballet-training programs with The Boston Ballet, The Joffery Ballet, The San Francisco Ballet and The Chicago Ballet.

After a brief stint at the University of California at Irvine, she joined a ballet company in the Pacific Northwest, appearing in productions of The Nutcracker (of course), Coppelia, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Giselle, Le Corsaire and Carmina Burana.

Missing her family and Southern California, she left professional ballet behind when an offer to pose for Playboy magazine came along.

It was her first experience posing nude, but the exhiliration of modeling sans clothes convinced her to make a permanent career change. She was named Miss February 1995 by Playboy, and traveled the world promoting the magazine.

In addition, she began auditioning for television and film roles and landed guest appearences on shows like ‘Friends,’ ‘Baywatch,’ ‘Married with Children,’ ‘High Tide’ and ‘MTV’s House of Style,’ Deciding that she wanted to return to college, Miss Scott applied for and was accepted to several Ivy League universities, but chose to attend UCLA due to its close proximity to home.

Majoring in history, she graduated in March 2000 summa cum laude in the honors program. Transfering to law school shortly thereafter, she found her main interests to be intellectual propery and feminist law.

Overburdened by the workload and coming to believe she’d never be happy as a lawyer, Miss Scott quit law school and returned to modeling full time, setting up her own website (www.lisamariescott.com) in the process.

She’s continued to pose for magazine pictorials (in FHM and Vanity Fair, among others) and makes appearences at conventions all over the country. Her main desire now is to continue modeling, marry, and one day have a family.

Lisa Gleave is a former Barker Beauty. She is currently a model on the game show Deal or No Deal, where she always holds the number 3 briefcase. She has also had roles in Accepted and CSI: NY. She is an E3 booth babe for Tecmo. Gleave is the cover model for the 2006 Maxim calendar and has been featured in Maxim and FHM at least 5 times in 3 different continents over the last 5 years. Nicole Richie’s dad has taken a jab at celebs who go into rehab for inconsequential reasons.

“I think it’s a cliché to say, ‘I’m going into rehab. I bumped my foot today — rehab; I hit my head on something  rehab,’” Lionel Richie said, reports WENN.

Some found the comment ironic — given that Nicole Richie had to go into rehab for her addiction, but her father said that his daughter’s case was different: she needed it. Some celeb watchers feel that his comments were a thinly veiled reference to celebrities who went into rehab after making bigoted comments.

Hopping into her brand new Mercedes SLK,  Lindsay Lohan was spotted out making her way around Los Angeles earlier today (February 12).

The “Mean Girls” starlet, who just recently regained her driving privileges, looked to be in high spirits as she hopped out of her ride upon arriving at girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house.Meanwhile, LiLo is soon to be headed off to sunny Florida, as she and Sam are booked to host a Valentine’s Day shindig at Passion Nightclub inside the Hard Rock Seminole Casino on Saturday night.

Sure to be a short trip, the two will be flying back out west following their Valentine’s Day duties – as Miss Ronson is lined up for a spinning gig at Stingaree in San Diego the following night.

Lily Allen was being interviewed on live TV while in Holland and shared her freaky third nipple with the television viewers.

The star is currently on a promo tour to sell her new album and was not a bit shy when a chat show host asked about her oddity.

Allen discussed her third nipple on the show Vara Live- which is filmed aboard a canal boat.

Lifting up her top to expose the nip’ just below her left breast she said: “It gets hard when you touch it.”
