Jaslene Gonzalez may have been a little much for Tyra Banks
and company during casting for last season – won by English – but the competitive 20-year-old returned for Cycle 8 won over reality TV critics and fans.

Jaslene’s miraculous turnaround ended last night when she won America’s Next Top Model, beating out Natasha and Renee for the ultimate prize.

Joining Caridee and six other ANTM champs, Jaslene Gonzalez got a celebratory breast squeeze by Tyra Banks.

Just kidding. Jaslene talked to People magazine about her unexpected Top Model victory and all the hectic drama along the (run)way….

Q: What was it like to see your picture on the screen and be named America’s Next Top Model?
Jaslene Gonzalez: I didn’t even look at the picture. I was waiting to hear Tyra Banks say my name. Then I looked! Once I looked at the screen my legs got weak. I couldn’t move. I was in shock. They didn’t show it, but I was actually holding onto Natasha for like 15 minutes.

Q: You didn’t make the final cut during casting for Cycle 7. How does it feel to come back and win it all?
Jaslene Gonzalez: It means so much. For Cycle 7, things didn’t work out, but I’m glad. I was a little too crazy, a little too much. So, second time around I tried to compose myself and show a cooler swagger. I went back stronger than ever. This is what I wanted and I got it.

Enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon (November 9),newly-single  Jaime Pressly was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, stopping into a salon for a personal pampering session.

On Friday, the “My Name is Earl” hottie opted for some bonding time with her 18-month-old son Dezi, looking playful in a powder blue t-shirt and black yoga pants.The 31-year-old actress is settling into single life after breaking off a 2-year engagement to Eric Cubiche, 34, a longtime friend and the father of her child.

Pressly told press, “We are taking a break from our relationship but we are together every day with Dezi and still love each other very much.” She added that they plan to, “remain close friends as we both adore our son and want to make sure he knows we both love him more than life.”

Jools Oliver, Jamie Oliver’s wife, has turned to book writing. Her husband, Jamie Oliver, is a celebrity Chef in the UK.

Jools Oliver’s first book was written for children and it is named, “The Adventures of Dotty and Bluebell.” The plot is about 2 little girls who lived with their parents in a country cottage. Jools’ book somewhat resembled the setting of Enid Blyton. She used the favorite traditional backdrop of a simple, bygone era that coddled the characters against the changes and bad aspects in life.

Jools said she could not find enough story books that offered simple, good stories for children so she decided to try her hand at writing them.

Her relationship with baby daddy Casey Aldridge has been anything but conventional.  But now it sounds like Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to settle down and get married.

The newest James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, is in the works and a possible spoiler has already been accidentally revealed by one of the stars.  In an interview new bond girl Gemma Arterton made mention of a possible marriage between Bond and her character.  She mentioned that they have been filming scenes in a honeymoon suite and quickly backed away saying she had revealed too much information.  If true it will be the second marriage for the spy who was also married in the 1969 release .

James Blunt must undergo surgery on his finger if he wants to play the piano again.

The ‘You’re Beautiful’ singer, who recently broke his little finger after jumping into the crowd at a concert in Asheville, North Carolina, has been told that doctors need to break and then reset the digit again in order for it to function fully.

He is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying, “I need it to be right but the idea of having them take a hammer and smash my finger in two isn’t so thrilling.”

Blunt, who is still able to play the guitar, recently revealed he was mobbed by excited fans after his stage dive.

He said, “I don’t know what made me do it. I jumped off stage at the end and was chased by women, and men, in the crowd. I started running, and the next thing I knew I had broken my finger.”

“I don’t even know how I did it. I can’t play the piano but I can still play the guitar with my remaining fingers! I looked down and realized my finger was pointing the wrong way.”

Blunt has decided to go ahead with planned shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan before undergoing surgery.

He added, “I need it fixed. I need all my fingers to work properly. Not just for performing but for partying.”
