Model and muse Erin Wasson is a pretty — yet polarizing — face.

First, there was all the drama when her jewelry line appeared quite similar to designer Bliss Lau’s. Then, there was the very public severing of her relationship with Alexander Wang, who helped launched her to the next level of her modeling career.

So how will the fashion world react to her collaboration line with Los Angeles brand RVCA? We’ll find out when the spring collection launches in stores early next month.

What we do appreciate about the line is how essentially Erin it all is. Frayed denim shorts? Check. Blossom-inspired florals? Check. Tailored, menswear-esque jackets? Again, check.

Miad Jarbou filed a lawsuit against Eminem. He claimed that Eminem punched him while he was standing at a urinal in a night club called Cheetah in Detroit. This supposedly happened in July 13, 2006.

Jarbou said that his friend recognized Eminen when he walked into the restroom. The guy called out to Eminem but the singer’s bodyguard told him to shut up. Jarbou replied that it was cool to see Eminem and this was when the singer allegedly punched Jarbou in his face.

Eminem, aka Marshall Mathers III, could not be reached for comment. Mathers’ lawyer declined to return the phone calls made to his office to request for a comment. Miad Jarbou’s lawyer, Leon Weiss, also refused to discuss about the case.

Dixie Chick Emily Robison and her husband, singer Charlie Robieson , have divorced.The San Antonio Express-News reports that Charlie Robison filed for divorce in January. The couple were at the Bexar County Courthouse on Wednesday when the divorce was finalized.

The divorce filing states their marriage had “become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

The couple, married in 1999, have three children.
Robison used in vitro to give birth to their three children Charles Augustus, Julianna Tex and Henry Benjamin. Emily’s older sister Martie Maguire wrote the song ‘Cowboy Take Me Away’ about the courting of Emily and Charlie.

Messages seeking comment from one of the Dixie Chicks’ publicists and Charlie Robison’s manager weren’t immediately returned Thursday.

It looks like the pageant world is going to be buzzing today. Miss Washington 2007 and this year’s second runner up in the Miss America pageant, Elyse Umemoto, is the most recent title holder to have nasty pictures surface. One thing Elyse forgot to do was take off her crown. Oops!

So much for saying it happened a long time ago…really I was young and dumb and didn’t know any better. Some might say the incident is sufficient motivation to strip the beauty queen of her crown, but it doesn’t sound like that is going to happen. Miss Washington Executive Field Director Mike Miller had this to say to

“While these photos would not cause Elyse to lose her crown, we will be discussing the matter with her and using this as a learning experience.
Thank goodness this will be a learning experience for all young and upcoming queens and princesses: Do not get caught with your crown on when doing foolish things that can be captured on camera for posterity.

We may have heard the end of this one – and then again, maybe the good people of Washington state will have more to say on the subject. These things have a way of creating a firestorm. This one could get interesting.
