Adrianne Curry posted a statement on her blog that sounded like she’d rather see hurricane Ike victims in Texas die, rather than have her tax dollars be spent to rescue those people. Adrianne said on her blog today:
Adrianne Curry; I am sorry, but I believe all these people should have to pay the bill for their individual rescues! When they issue a “certain death” warning and you are f*cking dumb enough to stay, you do not deserve free aid. I watched people being interviewed on the news claiming they bought a bunch of beer and BBQ to sit through the storm. I bet these same people are crying for help as I type. This is f*cking stupid! Why should we have to foot a dime for these dumba$$es that ignored these warnings?
FREE transportaion was provided, many buses left half empty. FREE shelters were provided, many not filled up. People value MONEY and POSESSIONS more than their own lives? IDIOTS!
It was a nice day for a Woody wedding.
E! News has confirmed that Woody Harrelson tied the knot with Laura Louie, his girlfriend of 20 years, in Maui on Sunday.
True to laid-back, beach-loving form, a rep for the 47-year-old actor duo said the “proud parents” and longtime partners swapped vows on the island in an intimate ceremony attended by family and friends.
While there’s no official word on a guest list for the perpetual bro and his 43-year-old better half, Us Weekly reports that Harrelson’s fellow shirt-eschewing pal Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Sean Penn were among those present. The mag also claims that none other than Alanis Morissette took over wedding singer duties.
It’s the second trip down the aisle for Harrelson. The longtime couple already has three children together, daughters Denni Montana, 15, Zoe Giordano, 23, and Makani Ravello, 2.
Enjoying a night out with the girls, Whitney Port attended the Charlotte Ronson afterparty at The Eldridge in downtown Manhattan on Friday night (February 13).
Hosted by Smartwater, the MTV reality starlet and a few friends made their way inside for the fancy shindig, with Whitney taking a moment to pose for photographers upon entrance before joining in on the fun.
Noticeably absent was Miss Port’s Aussie hunk boyfriend, Jay Lyon, who surely found something better to do than talk fashion with the ladies.
Nonetheless, Lyon says that he and Whitney’s love is for real, telling OK! magazine, “She’s a great girl and I love spending time with her. She’s definitely a keeper. She’s really sweet and of course I want to hold on to her.
Millionaire fashion heiress Allegra Versace looks like she’s still trying to overcome her anorexia battle, cutting a scarily slim figure on the Dark Knight red carpet in London this week. The 22-year-old, who inherited half the Versace empire when her uncle Gianni was killed in 1997, went public about her battle with the disease in 2007, long after images of her emaciated frame were splashed across international tabloids.
Allegra has been receiving treatment for her anorexia at UCLA, and we love it that she’s brave enough to rock up to major events like the Dark Knight premiere despite all the media attention she gets about her eating disorder. Get well soon Allegra.
Well, it’s that time of the week where we forget about celebrity gossip and concentrate on sweet female goodness. And today, that goodness is Alina Vacariu. Haven’t heard of her? Neither have I. However, I’m sure that after taking one look at her you will never forget her. She’s probably one of the most delicious babes I’ve ever posted on this site. Don’t believe me? Take a lick. Don’t be shy no ones watching.
Sicko! Let me guess, it tastes like dust
Alicia Keys’ artistic light is so bright it could illuminate a pitch-black room. A true musical prodigy whose multi-dimensional gifts
emerged at age five, the beautiful Alicia will soon take modern R&B soul to a whole new level.
Born aware of her old soul yet living in New York’s inner city amidst the dominance of Biggie and Jay Z, Alicia’s natural talents blossomed into a rare mix of hip-hop flavor and insightful, wise-beyond-her-years songwriting. Coupling this with the singer’s spine-tingling vocal power, positively stirring live performances and expertise as a classically trained pianist, Alicia Keys could be this generation’s Roberta Flack.
Highly sought-after by record labels that held good, old-fashioned bidding wars in her honor, Alicia signed to Arista Records in 1998. There, in the spirit of a genius like D’Angelo or Prince, she continued the process of writing, producing and recording the debut she’d begun penning at age 14.
In late 1999, Alicia followed Clive Davis to his new J Records where she continues to chart her arrival to the music world. Creations now rising out of the studio show signs of both a critical and commercial monster – a deep, melodic, soulful gem of an album that showcases Alicia in all her universal glory. Though most of the album- including the luminous “Fallin’” and the moving “Troubles” – was written and produced by Alicia Keys, the artist collaborates with Jermaine Dupri on “Girlfriend” and with Isaac Hayes on “Rock Wit U” from the Shaft soundtrack. Her debut album, Songs in A Minor, is set for release on J Records in late June.
Born and raised in Manhattan, the stunning, bi-racial Alicia Keys recognizes a number of influences including her ultra-supportive mother who told her “You can quit anything else but you can never give up on your piano lessons.” Alicia also sites a teacher at the Professional Performance Arts School in Manhattan who, while she was majoring in Choir, gave her valuable instruction on her voice. “This teacher spent so much time with me, she became the closest thing to vocal training I received,” Alicia recalls.
At age 16, Alicia’s outstanding grades allowed her to finish high school early. “I was so deeply involved in music, I had already outgrown all the pressure of high school cliques and gossip.” Right out of high school, Columbia University accepted Alicia Keys and though she gave it a whirl, the desire to focus on music was the driving force over all else.
Is Long Island’s little Ali Lohan desperately trying to fit in with Upper East Side fashion on “Gossip Girl?”
We weren’t the only ones who noticed Lindsay Lohan’s little sister looked an awful lot like Blair Waldorf on the premiere of her mom’s new E! reality show, “Living Lohan.”
Who was she kidding with that Blairesque plaid headband?
Ali probably doesn’t even know her four G’s
Ali Larter (31) got engaged over the weekend to her boyfriend of two years actor (30). Ali said:
“He just brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him.”
Uh huh, and things look very sparkly when she looks down at that rock on her finger. Ali adds:
“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow. Now that I’m actually in love, I know that what came before wasn’t real.”
Ali is even thinking of having a baby. Nothing makes a celebrity more popular than having a mini-them.
