Family friends say despite doing lots of research before selecting the special gift for his boy, the brainiac bassist forgot that the set’s small lights and tiny minature stations could be a death trap for a small child.

“Pete spent weeks finding the right set,” a Star Magazine source spills. “The only problem is that there are choking hazards because the pieces are so small,” the spy adds. “For now, it will have to be boxed away in the attic.”

If Taylor Swift thought she was the only celeb who could put an ex on blast with a scathing diss track, she was sorely mistaken. Taylor’s former Buss It Baby Joe “Shoulda Put A Ring On It” Jonas is hitting back at his former girlfriend in a song on the Jonas Brothers’ new album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

Taylor openly discussed the couples’ messy breakup in the track “Forever and Always” on her platinum-selling album Fearless. The Jonas’ took a beating with the under 16 set after Taylor revealed that Joe dumped her in a 2 minute phone call – a claim the 19-year-old crooner vehemently denies.

Now it’s Joe’s turn to do the blasting. Joe bites at Taylor in a track titled “Much Better,” which clearly hints at how he split with Taylor and began dating 300 B.C. actress Camilla Belle, who he refers “much better” in the song. The diss also specifically names Swift’s 2007 song “Tear Drops on My Guitar.”

Still spending her days on the island of St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse was spotted hanging out with some local children before hitting up the bar yesterday (June 5).

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress looked her usual unkempt self as she chatted with the kids, then heading off to grab a drink clad in a bathing suit top and shorts.

In related news, Amy recently told press that she and husband Blake Fielder-Civil are “still in love,” despite the fact that he has a baby with another woman.

In typical nonchalant form, Winehouse stated, “I couldn’t have given him kids – and anyway I want black kids, not white kids.”

Taking care of her errands ahead of the weekend, Jessica Alba ventured out shopping in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon (June 5).

Finally around 5:30am after a trip to the Automat brasserie in the Mayfair district, Lindsay was satisfied with her evening and headed back to her hotel for what would surely be a long night’s sleep.

Continuing on with her sun-soaked vacation, Kate Gosselin and her sextuplets were spotted posing for a family photo yesterday on the beach at Bald Head Island, North Carolina.

Joined by security guard (and rumored lover) Steve Nield, the Gosselin family looked to be having a great time despite the fact that patriarch Jon Gosselin and twins Cara and Mady were back in Pennsylvania.

The kids played in the sand and splashed in the water as the TLC cameras filmed footage for a new episode of their hit show “Jon and Kate Plus 8.”

In addition, the whole crew headed over to an alligator viewing spot while also making a stop at a local market for a few items.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Cameron Diaz was spotted at the Stella McCartney Eco Garden Picnic and Screening of “Home” last night (June 5).

Mingling with fellow guests including actress Liv Tyler and stylist Rachel Zoe, the “Charlie’s Angels” chick looked lovely in a swirly black and white dress with black heels and a pulled-back hairdo.

In related news, Miss Diaz recently told press that she would love a more curvy figure if she had her choice.  “I’d love a bigger butt, more meat on my bones.  I’d love to be more voluptuous. It’s just not my body type.”

It was a thrill working with the team of photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and editors. We shot the entire issue in 1 week – it was a group effort!”
