The Hollywood Hottie Meter is kicking into overdrive in the wake of rumors that hunky heartthrobs Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, and Justin Timberlake are each being courted for major roles in Ohio, an upcoming film based on the 1970 murders of anti-Vietnam War protesters at Kent State University.
But if you’re expecting a major Bromance to break out behind the scenes, don’t hold your breath. Star Magazine claims Justin, 28, and former High School Musical star Zac Efron, 21, feel that they are bigger names than big screen newcomer Robert, who skyrocketed to stardom after getting his big break in the hit 2008 vampire epic Twilight. Both Zac and J.T. are unnerved that Rob’s been offered first stab at Ohio’s lead role, according to a squealing tabloid spy.
“Everyone in the industry is shocked that Rob is already getting such big roles,” says an insider.
“Zac and Justin have been working for a lot longer than he has. There is a bit of jealousy there.”
“Zac’s people want him to have the lead. And Justin’s people have asked that he get a lot of screen time.”
If you didn’t catch Michelle Obama’s Democratic National Convention speech last night, take a look at this YouTube video of the heartfelt endorsement for her husband, Barack Obama.
Michelle Obama said, in part, about Barack Obama:
“He’s the same man who drove me and our new baby daughter home from the hospital 10 years ago this summer, inching along at a snail’s pace, peering anxiously at us in the rearview mirror, feeling the whole weight of her future in his hands … [He was] determined to give her what he never had, the affirming embrace of a father’s love.”
Following Michelle Obama’s Democratic National Convention speech, she was joined by daughters Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10, to the tune of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.”

Woody Harrelson grew up in Lebanon, Ohio. He received degrees in theatre arts and English from Hanover College, Indiana. His career began in New York theatre as an understudy in Neil Simon’s ‘Biloxi Blues’. Within months, he was cast as Woody on the hit TV series, “Cheers” (1982).
Due to conflicts with his TV shedule, Harrelson found it difficult to cross-over to films. His first appearance was in Wildcats (1986) with Goldie Hawn. His next movie, Cool Blue (1988) (V), was releases directly to video. He followed with two cameos, which went uncredited. Meanwhile, he continued to be active in theatre in L.A.: ‘Zoo Story’, ‘2 on 2’ (his own basketball drama), ‘Brooklyn Laundry’ (with Glenn Close and Laura Dern). In 1991, Doc Hollywood (1991) gave him his first widely-seen movie role. The follo wing year, White Men Can’t Jump (1992), with Wesley Snipes established him as a box-office draw. He followed immediatly with two hits, Indecent Proposal (1993) and Natural Born Killers (1994). Harrelson lives with his former assistant, Laura Louie, and their 2 daughters.
What do you get when you cross a fear of flying with too many Xanax? Winona Ryder on a gurney! The actress was rushed off a plane in London after collapsing twice on the flight — and the Daily Mail says it was because she took too many Xanax.
Ryder has a known fear of flying and was seen at LAX before departing on her London flight looking “distinctly ill,” according to the British paper.
But Ryder’s rep Mara Buxbaum said: “She did fall ill on a plane and as a precautionary measure they took her to hospital. She was there for an hour. She’s in good health. There’s no drama.”
Tacky former 70’s star Wilmer Valderrama is going to spill the beans about his ex’s Lindsay Lohan and Mandy Moore. Wilmer has signed on with MTV to produce a new scripted comedy entitled, Baby Dolls.
“Basically, it’s the life of Young Hollywood told through the eyes of a celebrity female assistant,” Valderrama said yesterday, during a recording session for the final season of his animated Disney Channel kid’s show, Handy Manny. “We’re going to make it a single-camera, badass half-hour. I am really going to get a chance to talk about some of the cheesy bulls–t that I see.
