Controversial American Idol Season 6 star Sanjaya Malakar is set to release a memoir detailing his life story as well as an EP featuring new dance tracks songs, both called Dancing To The Music In My Head, on January 20.
Fanjayas Rejoice!
According to an editorial review of the autobiography:
In his candid new book, Sanjaya opens up about what it feels like to go from obscurity as a high school student near Seattle to worldwide fame as a top ten finalist on one of the most popular television shows in American history. For the first time, the “People’s Idol” talks about life before Randy, Simon, Paula and “Sanjayamania,” and offers his devoted “Fanjayas” an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the blockbuster show. From going to Hollywood with his beloved sister, Shyamali, to becoming the most highly anticipated performer of season six, to facing the unforgiving chopping block, Sanjaya tells his fans everything they want to know. Finally, he shares how his life has changed since he left Idol, and where his music — and unforgettable persona — will take him next.
Diane Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock and Mandy Moore. Sounds like a pretty good lineup for another stab at a remake of The Women.
But alas, the A-listers have only teamed up for a lawsuit.
The comely quartet have sued CompUSA, Systemax, TigerDirect and several other electronics-peddling corporations for using their images, which carry “substantial commercial value,” in online advertisements without the actresses’ permission. (View the complaint.)
According to court documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the defendants used the plaintiffs’ pictures and personas “repeatedly and continuously” to sell various products online and in their retail outlets.
We may have never bought a universal remote or a TV wall mount because of Michelle Pfeiffer, but who’s to say other people haven’t?
Pfeiffer, Keaton, Bullock and Moore are requesting unspecified damages. Overall, they are alleging unjust enrichment, violation of common law right of publicity and violation of a California civil code that outlaws unauthorized use of a person’s image for commercial purposes.
I just keep delivering these wonderful Sandee Westgate photos to you. Sandee was posted as one of our hotties last Friday, and I don’t think she is going to be a Friday tradition, but here she is again looking awesome, as usual. Sandee gets two thumbs straight up as a wonderful bikini model.
The best thing about Sandee is that she doesn’t really have that natural beauty thing going on. She’s totally California fake. She has gotten breast implants and her hair is totally over-treated. That puts Sandee Westgate on this totally unreal babe pedestal that you really want to get to know!
Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L Jackson were spotted at NBC Studios in New York City before an appearance in msnbc “Today Show” as the team of the film “Spirit” is on a promotional tour right now.
“The Spirit” is directed by Frank Miller includes the cast and crew likes of Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes and Samuel L Jackson as the movie revolves around a Denny Colt who returns from the beyond as The Spirit to fight bad forces in the city.
As well as being Corrie’s biggest ‘soap babe’, Samia Smith is one of the best young actresses, don’t you think? Having spent seven years in her role as kennelmaid-cum-hairdresser, Samia really proved her worth to me during the story surrounding Maria’s affair with Charlie. I am particularly fond of Maria’s rapport with Audrey; Samia and Sue Nicholls must have such a fantastic working relationship. I relished in the scene last week where the two talked about Carla Connor’s split ends et al, Samia is so natural at all levels. I would actually prefer to see Maria involved in a more character-centred story as opposed to her trying to find another man. More, please!
Is Jude Law morphing into his ex, Sadie Frost?
It certainly looks like he’s been raiding her make-up bag.
We could barely keep our peepers inside our heads when we clapped eyes on this trantastic shot.
Even Jude’s thinning bonce has been replaced with a glorious head of hair.
Come to think of it, we think he looks quite fetching indeed.
So why the heck is Jude going around looking like a cross between his ex and a member of the New York Dolls glam rock band?
Well Judy, we mean Jude, is all plucked and painted to play Minx, an androgynous model in his new film titled Rage.
The film’s a funny expose of the inner lives of individuals working at a New York fashion house.
The arthouse flick is meant to look as if it is shot by a schoolboy on his cell phone camera over seven days in which an accident on the runway becomes a murder investigation.
Whether Jude purposely built his look around Sades, or whether it’s just a coincidence, we’re not quite sure.
But they say imitation is the highest form of flattery – so surely she must be a little pleased?
Borat comic Sacha Baron Cohen was booed at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday after mocking Madonna’s recent divorce from British film director Guy Ritchie.
The controversial star stepped onstage to present the Best Comedy award to Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona at last night’s event in Beverly Hills, but he was instead jeered after claiming Madonna had fired her “personal assistant,” ie: Guy, due to the recession.
“Madonna has had to get rid of one of her personal assistants. Our heart goes out to you, Guy Ritchie,” Sacha cracked in front of a curt audience.
Ryan Phillippe and his new love bird Abbie Cornish are in Las Vegas to celebrate Abbie’s 26th birthday.
As you can see from the pictures above they were spotted drinking and by the poolside at the exclusive TAO Beach at The Venetian.
What else have they been upto in Las Vegas well they checked out Cirque Du Soleil’s O at Bellagio ( I can highly recommended this because I have seen it FANTASTIC). After they made their way to a VIP skybox at Tao’s nightclub. At then end of their night they went back to there hotel suite The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
