We’ve been waiting for Amy Winehouse to release some new music for quite sometime now so when we heard her record label had sent her back to the drawing board after hearing her latest material we must admit our hearts sunk a little.

Apparently the tracks she recently recorded contain some very “dark lyrics” and although “in the past, she’s written frequently about broken hearts and boyfriends” a source explains that, “this time round she’s delving into harrowing terrain” and it’s simply not “hitting the mark.”

“She seems to have ditched her trademark vintage soul sound and is now heavily influenced by reggae. Her bosses don’t think it’s a wise move to change her style so sharply and have told her that.”

“If she puts out a record that is in any way half-baked, that could severely damage her long-term prospects, so everyone’s focus at the minute is getting it right, even if that means telling Amy some things she probably won’t want to hear.”

Scary news just in: Paris Hilton is ready to have a baby!! The 28-year-old socialite thinks her biological clock is ticking so she’s given up drinking and partying as she puts her baby plan into action.

Over the weekend we caught up with the heiress, who was sporting a fancy new do, as she filmed her ‘New BFF’ show in Hollywood and in case you didn’t know Paris is currently dating baseball player Doug Reinhardt, well we say ‘currently dating’ but after hearing she’s on a baby mission we wouldn’t be surprised if he suddenly goes A.W.OL. would you?!

   

Maybe what happened in the Caribbean this weekend got Ashton Kutcher thinking about his own marriage.

The What Happens in Vegas star, who attended Bruce Willis’ wedding Saturday in the Turks and Caicos Islands with wife Demi Moore, has taken to his Twitter page to give out some sage relationship advice. Among his words of wisdom:

Then, perhaps in an effort to emphasize the "good things await" part, Ashton later posts a pic of one of Demi’s many assets, with the request, "Shhh. Don’t tell wifey."

Natasha Bedingfield has a pocketful of sunshine!

The singer wed fiance Matt Robinson on Saturday at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu., her rep told Usmagazine.com. 

"Our wedding day was everything we’d hope it would be," Natasha gushed. "It was simple, beautiful and natural. Free from trappings or formalities, it was more about expressing our love for one another in front of those we hold dearest to us than anything else."

The "Unwritten" artist wore a cream silk Vera Wang dress, while her groom was decked out in Armani.

"We are now very much looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together," beamed the bride. "Love is hard to find, so when you do find it, hang on to it!"

Looks like low-key couple Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have been keeping a secret.

According to People.com, a source close to the twosome has revealed that the lovebirds have been engaged for over a month now. The insider said that the Indiana Jones star surprised Ally McBeal with a rock on Valentine’s Day, while they were on a family vacation with their son Liam.

Well, it’s about time! Calista and Harrison have been solid for over seven years!

In a storyline that mirrors the death and disappearance of Florida toddler Caylee Anthony, the former Lizzie McGuire star will play a young mother whose daughter is missing while small screen vet Gail O’Grady (Desperate Housewives, American Dreams) will step in as Hil’s mom, a detemined grandma who fears something sinister has befallen the little girl.

Now we aren’t ones to gossip, so you didn’t hear this from us, but word is Nicole Richie, who announced her second pregnancy in February, is driving her friends and family nuts with a rash of intense and emotional mood swings.

“She goes from one extreme to the other in an instant,” a snitch blabs in the March 30 issue of The National Enquirer.

Nearly everyone in Nic’s life has been subjected to such tantrums in recent weeks, but no one more than the socialite’s live-in love, Joel Madden.

“Nicole is needy and insecure to the point that she wants Joel with her all the time.”

“It takes almost nothing to set Nicole off or start her crying,” the spy continues.

Nicole is also struggling with jealously issues as she goes closer to her due date. “She goes through Joel’s cell phone,” the insider divulged. “Recently she found a picture of another girl-a fan-and Nicole went on a jealous tirade that ended in tears.”

Supermodel Elle Macpherson is returning to acting with a recurring role on CW’s drama pilot “Beautiful Life.”

The CBS Par-produced project revolves around a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York.

Macpherson will play Claudia, the owner of Focus Models, the top modeling agency in New York. She is an ’80s supermodel who is still in great shape and runs her business with the efficiency and toughness of a dictator.

Like her character, Macpherson was an ’80s supermodel. In fact, together with Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Paulina Porizkova and Cindy Crawford, she became part of the first generation of supermodels.

In the 1990s, she segued into acting. But after appearing in a string of movies, including “The Edge,” “If Lucy Fell” and “Batman & Robin” and recurring on NBC’s “Friends” in the late 1990s, Macpherson left Hollywood to focus on her business empire, whose portfolio of products includes workout videos, calendars, lingerie and beauty products.

Now Macpherson, repped by Fortitude, is making her acting comeback with “Beautiful Life.”

In the pilot, she joins Mischa Barton, Ben Hollingsworth, Sara Paxton, Ashley Madekwe and Nico Tortorella.

Singer M.I.A. seemed very upset when the media said she had named her new baby Ickitt. But TMZ got their hands on the birth certificate and M.I.A.’s baby is named Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. Ikhyd and Ickitt are pretty damn close huh?

As soon as it was reported that she had named her baby boy Ickitt, M.I.A. lashed out at the reports on her MySpace to shoot those rumors down! But it turns out the baby still has a freaky name. Ikhyd? WTF?

Most of us have heard about country singer LeAnn Rimes cheating on husband Dean Sheremet with her co-star Eddie Cibrian. Well, seems there is quite a bit more to the story. LeAnn Rimes’ husband Dean Sheremet is gay! Read more below.

On Michigan’s “Mojo In the Morning” show, friends and family of Dean Sheremet called in to say that the former back up dancer and hubby to LeAnn Rimes is indeed gay.

Dean’s cousin Pebbles called into the morning talk show and stated, “I mean, there were so many situations that happened when we were teenagers. He’s gay. He’s been gay since he was probably five.”

The cousin added, “The family literally used to take bets on what age he would come out, and then all of the sudden he got married!”

After Pebbles “outed” LeAnn Rimes’ hubby Dean, calls began coming into the station.

A former student from when Dean Sheremet taught a dance class confirmed, “He’s definitely gay.”

And a woman that worked at a restaurat with Dean Sheremet’s high school friends said, “They called him “Dancer Dean”. [His friends] were surprised that he got married because they knew he was gay in high school the whole time.”

So maybe LeAnn Rimes wasn’t being coy when she said things are not always black or white on her blog here.
