In a recent issue of Interview Magazine, Miley Cyrus interviews fashion designer Rick Owens. They’re chatting about roadtrips, the pandemic, America, general things. Then, at one point, Miley asks if Owens believes in aliens. The conversation quickly escalates!! It feels like more and more, celebrities are talking about their alien or UFO experiences. Of course, it always seems to be the total burnouts? From Interview:
CYRUS: Speaking of Area 51, do you believe in extraterrestrial beings?
OWENS: I don’t really, but it seems a little arrogant to assume there’s nobody else but us.
CYRUS: That’s what I f–king think!
OWENS: I haven’t looked into it. Have you?
CYRUS: I had an experience, actually. I was driving through San Bernardino with my friend, and I got chased down by some sort of UFO. I’m pretty sure about what I saw, but I’d also bought weed wax from a guy in a van in front of a taco shop, so it could have been the weed wax. But the best way to describe it is a flying snowplow. It had this big plow in the front of it and was glowing yellow. I did see it flying, and my friend saw it, too. There were a couple of other cars on the road and they also stopped to look, so I think what I saw was real.
OWENS: Well, I don’t know what to say to that. I haven’t seen sh-t.
CYRUS: I was shaken for, like, five days. It f–ked me up.
OWENS: It disturbed you?
CYRUS: I couldn’t really look at the sky the same. I thought they might come back.
OWENS: So you felt threatened?
CYRUS: I didn’t feel threatened at all, actually, but I did see a being sitting in the front of the flying object. It looked at me and we made eye contact, and I think that’s what really shook me, looking into the eyes of something that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around. But you’re so right to say that it’s a form of narcissism to think that we’re the only things that could be in this vast universe.
[From Interview Magazine]
Since I’m a longtime fan and watcher of Ancient Aliens, let me tell you that aliens have been here the whole damn time. Jesus Christ was a starman! Aliens did Stonehenge! Extraterrestrial beings are part of the Vedas! Of course aliens are hanging out in San Bernardino. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. (Honestly though, I appreciate that Miley was like “maybe it was the weed wax??”)

I didn’t choose the Armie Hammer life, the Armie Hammer life chose me. This is my third post on him in a week (catch up here and here) and who would have ever thought it would come to this? Certainly not me, but here we are. The latest development is that Armie “dropped out” of the upcoming product…
On January 5th, the Guardian published excerpts from former FBI Director James Comey’s new book, a book which no one asked for and no one wants. In the excerpts, Comey writes that President Joe Biden should pardon Donald Trump for all of the crimes Trump committed while in office. Most outlets were discussing the Comey excerpts on January 6th, the same day Trump sent his MAGA terrorist army to lay siege to the Capitol in a terrorist attack which left five people dead. The terrorist attack has led to dozens of arrests so far, and hundreds of open FBI investigations and cases, with hopefully more to come. The Capitol siege also led to Trump’s second impeachment, and what will be a wild Senate trial in the coming weeks.
You would think that after the events of the past eight days, Comey would come out and say “my bad, that was a terrible take on the situation.” He did not. Instead, he doubled-down.
“Donald Trump belongs in jail.”
Ex-FBI Director @Comey says while he “obviously believes” the president should be in jail, he doesn’t think “pursuing that is in the best interests of the American people”, adding Joe Biden should “consider” pardoning Donald Trump#Newsnight pic.twitter.com/RUghKyq5nW

Imagine after all of the fascism and terrorism and criminality of the past five years, you still believe that the smartest way to proceed is to leave all of the terrorists, criminals and fascists unpunished. I just… can’t. When we study history – and Comey claims to be a student of history – this is the moment to stand up and say that what has happened is unquestionably wrong, that it is unsupportable, and we don’t have to cover the F–k Your Feelings crowd in bubble wrap for the “good” of the nation. That’s not how any of this works. What’s best for the nation is to punish all of these people, especially Trump.
Comey’s former colleague Andrew McCabe rejects Comey’s rationale.
Fmr FBI Deputy Dir. Andrew McCabe responds to old boss Comey saying Biden should “consider” a Trump pardon:
“As much as you might want to move on to political healing, this is an offense against this nation that has to be — he has to be held accountable for this in some way. ” pic.twitter.com/zoBvGM6Unc

Years ago, I was sort of obsessed with Heather Mills and her Big Grifter Energy. This was back when she was married to Paul McCartney, and then they divorced and I was sort of obsessed with all of the divorce drama. It’s been years since Heather was really on anyone’s gossip radar though – I’m sure the British press has kept tabs on her, but sitting here in America, it’s been years since I’ve heard anything about her. Paul lives in the US now, and he’s happily married to Nancy Shevell. After her divorce from Paul, Heather got a nice settlement (something like $50 million) and joint custody of their daughter Beatrice, who is now 17 years old! Time flies. Anyway, Heather is back in the news this week because she’s engaged. To a man 13 years younger than her.
Heather Mills is set to wed her toyboy boyfriend after the pair exchanged commitment rings — 13 years after her acrimonious divorce from Sir Paul McCartney. The vegan campaigner, 53, has described 36-year-old film producer Mike Dickman as the “love of her life”.
Smitten Mike, who also works in sports TV, views the exchange as an informal engagement. It is understood they swapped rings shortly before Christmas, having enjoyed a romantic holiday in Portugal in September.
A source said: “Heather and Mike are incredibly happy. It’s so good to see a smile on her face again after a turbulent few years. They’re completely in love. Heather has told pals he’s the love of her life whilst, for his part, Mike adores her and is completely devoted…Heather’s incredibly young at heart, and gets on with all his mates — their 17-year age gap really isn’t an issue.”
Although Heather is in no rush to walk down the aisle again, they have swapped commitment rings to keep other suitors at bay. Earlier this week, Mike showed off a ring worn on his wedding finger on social media with various friends commenting with love heart emojis and “likes”.
The news comes 18 months after the couple first started dating — having met on a train. Heather reportedly left a note for Mike declaring, “You’re hot, email me”, with her contact details attached.
[From The Sun]
Well, I mean… good for them, I suppose. I always felt like Heather was on the friendly side of “con artist” and it was widely reported (and confirmed by Heather) that she burned through her divorce settlement within a few years, so it’s not like she’s a sugar mama or anything. My guess is that Mike will probably have to financially support her. Maybe she’s changed though (lol, unlikely). Anyway, I hope Mike is going into this with his eyes wide open and an ironclad prenup.

There have been nearly 390,000 COVID related deaths in the US and that number is steadily rising. For the past several days we have lost four thousand people per day to COVID. It is being predicted that the number will rise to five thousand a day by the end of February. Despite there being two vaccines, the increase in cases is out pacing the rollout.
Late last month a new strain of the virus appeared in the U.K. The strain is more contagious and within a week it had made it to Australia, South Africa and the U.S. Several countries have issued travel bans for people traveling from the U.K. in order to curb the spread of the new strain but the U.S. has been slow to enforce requirements for international travelers coming into the U.S. The U.S. is now requiring everyone traveling into the U.S. from foreign countries to show proof of a negative COVID test that was taken within the last three days before travel. If the traveler refuses a test or cannot provide proof, the airline they are traveling with must refuse to board them. This new plan will be implemented starting January 26. Below are more details via People:
According to a statement from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released Tuesday afternoon, it is “expanding the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers entering the United States.” The order will go into effect Jan. 26.
All airline passengers, including U.S. citizens, who wish to enter the country will be “required to get a viral test (a test for current infection) within the 3 days before their flight to the U.S. departs, and provide written documentation of their laboratory test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19.”
Airlines will be required to check each passengers’ documentation and if someone doesn’t have their results or has elected not to take a test, “must deny boarding to the passenger.”
The statement continues, “Testing before and after travel is a critical layer to slow the introduction and spread of COVID-19. This strategy is consistent with the current phase of the pandemic and more efficiently protects the health of Americans.”
The decision comes after weeks of discussion between federal agencies and the White House’s coronavirus task force, the Wall Street Journal reports.

It infuriates me that this administration has allowed so many Americans to die on its watch from the spread of a virus that could have been slowed. What’s more is the fact that the slow response by the Republicans was most definitely due to the fact that the virus was overwhelmingly killing BIPOC. The U.S. has the highest mortality rate from covid than any country in the world and it is absolutely shameful. If we continue at the rate of 4,000 deaths a day by the end of January we will be well over 400,000 casualties.
The other thing that is angering me is the delay in enforcing travel restrictions. Why are we waiting another two weeks before enforcing these regulations? The fact that 38 people became billionaires during the pandemic is even more shameful. It just lets me know that America puts money before lives. Currently, a person dies every six minutes from COVID in L.A. county. We have people having house parties and refusing to wear masks in stores because it infringes on their imaginary “rights.” Thousands of Alabama State fans lined the streets maskless partying because they won a national championship. Within the next week or two there will be another explosion of infections that will definitely lead back to that damn party. How selfish and entitled must one be to look these staggering numbers and go, “I don’t care. My rights!?” I was also appalled when I read the story about the man who died from COVID on a plane in December and all they did was divert the plane to New Orleans, removed the man’s body, wet wiped the seats and continued to its destination with the rest of the passengers in tow. I just don’t understand why our legislators are having such an inadequate response and our countrymen are being so selfish. Why aren’t Americans being protected?
I am an avid traveler and I have been grounded for a year. It is driving me insane to be stuck in Houston, Texas. I want to see friends and visit other countries but I understand that complying with CDC and WHO guidelines will help slow the spread of this virus until everyone gets vaccinated. I do hope that once Biden and Harris take office that they will do whatever they can to implement travel restrictions and lockdown protocols. I also hope that they will create a better stimulus package for Americans who are unemployed and underemployed. We have all suffered this year and it may take many years to heal from the trauma of what COVID because of poor governance and entitled a-holes. I do hope going forward that people will be willing to abide by CDC travel guidelines. That is not to say don’t travel at all but be smart and safe when doing so, so that we do not take the virus with us and cripple another nation or bring it back with us and further cripple our own. January 20th cannot come fast enough. In the meantime, I will keep daydreaming about traveling somewhere soon, looking at flights and staying my ass at home until I can get vaccinated.

The Capitol siege pushed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out of the public’s mind for a week. It was sort of odd that the story got so pushed aside, just because in my experience, many gossip stories begin to pick up concurrently with major national or international events, almost like people need a silly gossip chaser for all of the horrific fascism. I think that’s why the Olivia Wilde-Jason Sudeikis split has picked up steam, btw. But people just forgot that Kim Kardashian is doing her Hamlet act over whether to file for divorce from Kanye. Thankfully, Kim ran to People Magazine to remind everyone!
It’s a new year, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still navigating a significant rough patch in their marriage. Multiple sources confirm that Kardashian, 40, has been struggling in her decision of whether or not to end her nearly seven-year union to West, on the heels of an exceedingly difficult year.
“Kim and Kanye’s marriage is beyond repair,” says a family source. “Kim is over Kanye’s chaos, and at this point she just wants to focus on the kids and her own life.”
The high-profile couple shares four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, who turns 3 on Friday, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May. Despite social media posts showing seemingly happy family vacations to Wyoming and Colorado last year, sources say behind the scenes, Kardashian grew increasingly concerned about West’s behavior — including his unlikely Presidential run and controversial and public statements about abortion, Kris Jenner and his marriage to Kardashian.
“If I had to say the final straw, I believe it was a combination of the Presidential run and his Twitter rants,” says an insider. “It created havoc at home. And though Kim is well aware of his issues [West opened up about his bipolar disorder in 2018], and tried to help him, she realized it was futile.”
Ultimately, “they are not on the same page,” says the source of Kardashian and West, 43. “Kim knows what she wants to do with her life and Kanye is constantly all over the place.” Continues the source: “She isn’t in a rush to file for divorce. But it is on her mind.”
[From People]
I don’t think Kim’s support was necessarily “futile.” Time and time again over the past four years, Kim is the one who has shouldered the responsibility of getting Kanye help, or taking him away when he’s being batsh-t in public, or convincing him to stop tweeting, etc. But I can understand – and I have understood, this whole time – how it probably feels futile to her, or it feels like Groundhog Day, with Kanye having these increasingly awful manic episodes every five months or so. She’s worn out from dealing with it. I would have said sayonara years ago.

It’s been nothing but baby-whispered melodrama from Ivanka Trump this month, but isn’t it weird that Jared Kushner has gone completely silent? He was in Israel for a few weeks, but there were reports that he actually returned to DC on the 6th, the day of the Capitol assault. There’s been next to nothing about him since – has he even showed up to “work” at all? Meanwhile, Ivanka has been busying herself with treason games and hair appointments, and trying to baby-whisper her way into Joe Biden’s inauguration. Now that she’s been told across the board that she is unwanted and unwelcome at the inauguration, she’s pretending that she wasn’t even expecting to go:
Despite earlier reports to the contrary, Ivanka Trump will not be in attendance at the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
“Ivanka is not expected to attend the inauguration nor was she ever expected to,” a White House official tells PEOPLE.
The news comes one week after a violent mob of supporters of President Donald Trump descended on the U.S. Capitol in an attempted coup. At least five people have died as a result of the violence perpetrated that day. While her father has been widely condemned for inciting the violence in the Capitol, Ivanka, 39, has also come under fire for a since-deleted tweet published during the riots, in which she called the group “American Patriots” while urging them to halt the violence.
Her husband Jared Kushner’s plans aren’t known, and a spokesman for him did not respond to a request for comment.

I know people say that Melania Trump will divorce Donald Trump as soon as he’s out of office, but I kind of think we should keep our eye on the Javanka marriage. My Spidey sense is tingling for some reason. Yes, treason birds of a feather flock together, but I do think Jared’s extended absence in the Middle East combined with Ivanka’s repeated seditious screw-ups this month are kind of revealing. Hm. Anyway, I’m glad that Ivanka was rejected and it’s hilarious that she’s playing it off like she wasn’t even trying to go to the inauguration. Enjoy prison, bitch.
